In scope

Declared cadences in Nix: sealing window, root epoch, succession margin, custody-attestation interval.
The steward derives the clocks and reports them: days to cycle seal, days to root expiry without a recorded successor, days since last custody attestation.
Escalation ladder by remaining repair options: a late cycle seal is a finding; an epoch nearing expiry with no successor is a page — it is the one failure in the estate cryptography cannot repair.

Out of scope

Performing any ceremony. Vedanta knows; it never does.

Boundary

The calendar is derived from declarations, never from observed habit — the estate is held to what it ruled, not what it drifted to.

Acceptance

Shortening a declared window moves every derived clock at eval.
The no-successor page fires while cryptographic repair is still possible, with the deadline in the message.
